The Big Race – La Ruta de los Conquistadores

Welcome to the race of all races: La Ruta de los Coquistadores – a mountain bike race held annually in Costa Rica. Definitely not for the faint-hearted! The race covers 380kms over 4 days and 40,000+ft of total ascent. Forty percent of competitors do not succeed in completing the race. From 11–14 November 2009, Gavin Romanis will be competing in one of the most difficult multi-stage mountain bike races in the world. MORE
